Volkswagen Prague Marathon (Czech Republic)
In 2009 the Volkswagen Prague Marathon was awarded the IAAF Road Race Gold Label. It belongs among 10 best marathons in the world. Thousands of runners from Czech Republic and from 71 countries from all over the world participate in it every year. Marathon and Half-marathon races take place on different dates.
Venice marathon (Italy)
Venice marathon has been organized since1986. Venice marathon has been awarded the IAAF Road Race Silver Label. For 25th Venice marathon there will be 6 000 participants and it is already officially confirmed that the route of the next Venice marathon will go through St.Mark's Square.
Spar Budapest International Marathon (Hungary)
Budapest Marathon has been organized since 1984. In 2009 more than 3 000 marathon runners from 55 different countries stood at the start line of the 24th SPAR Budapest International Marathon. Marathon and Half-marathon races take place on different dates.
Flora Warsaw Marathon (Poland)
Warsaw Marathon has been organized since 1979. In 2009 over 3 100 runners from 42 countries entered the race. Marathon and Half-marathon races take place on different dates.
Partner Marathons in the Baltics
Valmiera Marathon (Latvia)
Although first marathon in Valmiera took place already in 1983 the current organizers resumed event after long break in 2007. In 2009 over 1 100 runners entered the race (marathon, half-marathon & 6 km).
International Vilnuis Marathon (Lithuania)
First International Vilnius Marathon was organized in 2004. In 2009 there were more than 220 marathon runners and over 300 half-marathon runners who finished the race. Marathon and Half-marathon races take place on the same day.
